Fall 2017 Quilt Market Recap

Another Quilt Market has come and gone in a whirlwind of excitement. (And working my fingers to the bone with secret sewing)

It was a relief for Tula Pink to finely release her All Stars Collection for Free Spirit Fabrics to the public.
All Stars Collection

This was one of the collections that I created and made some quilts. The first quilt, Laserdisc, is based on my book New York Beauties & Flying Geese.  There was a slight modification in the center to accommodate the larger prints. A free companion pattern to the book will be released in January 2018 and will be available to download from me, so check back.

I also created a series or quilts to highlight each colorway. These quilts are based on the original. A Formal Affair, from my book Amish-Inspired Quilts for Today's Home. A free companion pattern will also be released in January 2018. These are quilts that can be made in a weekend.

Another quilt I created is Fractured Stars and this quilt was featured in Tim Holtz's booth for Coats. This pattern is a free download from the Free Spirit website.

One last quilt that I designed was for Original Morris from Free Spirit Fabrics. This pattern is called True Morris and is also a free download from Free Spirit.
