Amish-Inspired Quilts for Today's Home - Sun Catcher

The first quilt I will be featuring is called Sun Catcher.  This quilt features True Colors by Anna Maria Horner for Free Spirit Fabrics and Kona Cotton by Robert Kaufman.  The quilting was done by David Hurd (Quilting by David). I am thrilled the way the fabric makes this design just glow, just like the sun passing through a glass sun catcher hanging in the window.

I am thrilled that the book has finally made it to print.  The book was originally scheduled to be published by the Kansas City Star Books. And, as many of you now know, was purchased by C & T Publishing.   It was a long process, not just to make the quilts and write to manuscript, but waiting for the final announcement and my publication date.  I am thrilled that this book is the first new one to published with this new imprint.

I will be traveling with these quilts to several guilds over the next few months to speak and teach. So, check with your guild to see if I will be headed to your area soon.  My schedule is booking up, so contact me soon to get me on the schedule.  Contact information and a schedule of events can be found on my website.

Don't forget about my give away.  I will be giving away at least one signed copy of the book to a lucky follower on by blog, Facebook, Twitter or Instagram or anyone that subscribes to my newsletter. Drawing will be the September 14, 2015.

Love the design, but is the giveaway in 2014 or 2015 for the book?
