I participated in a signature block exchange on Facebook for a group of male quilters. I got my signature blocks returned to me last month. So. what do you make out of 6" signature blocks? Hexagons I say!
I found that Fons and Porter had the perfect size template, and I used that to cut my hexagons.
I used a jelly roll of Robert Kaufman Botanics that I purchased last year and some Kaffe spots for the setting triangles. I still need to complete the half hexagons to complete the rows, then I can start sewing it all together. I am excited to get this project compete. Actually, this would have been my 4th completed quilt this weekend if I kept sewing!
It's been good to get some projects and UFO't out of the way and I'll post some finished pictures on my Facebook page later.
