Holiday Wall Hanging Update

Well, after releasing over 30 patterns I need to issue my first pattern update.
I have received some emails concerning the yardage for block 2 of the quilt.
The yardage is correct at 1/4 yard, however your tree will appear as shown below.

Not bad, but in order to have the stripe fabric appear as in the original illustration you can either purchase a fat quarter of each fabric or 3/8 yard of each. Then you will be able to cut parallel to the stripe.

I truly apologize for any inconvenience. Typically when I design for a fabric line I never actually see the fabric. I only receive images of the fabric. This is because these designs are done well in advance of any fabric ever being printed. The patterns go through several reviews and iterations and sometimes things like which direction is the stripe placed of the fabric is overlooked.

Introducing my newest pattern "Urban Jungle"

Urban Jungle in Plum

Well, here I am at Quilt Market and enjoying seeing all the new products and meeting friends old and new.  I am excited to finally be able to show you my latest pattern. This pattern features Elizabeth by Tula Pink for FreeSpirit Fabrics.  It was such a joy to work with this line. The pattern will be available from the American Quilting Society (AQS) and at your local quilt shops.
Elizabeth comes in three color ways and this quilt looks great in any of them.

Prairie Quilt Guild

I had a great time spending some time with the ladies and men of the Prairie Quilt Guild. They are a Guild located in Wichita, KS and have over 600 members. I did two lectures for them yesterday on Color 101 and a mini trunk show related to the subject. A very attentive group and lots of good questions afterwards. Today I am looking forward to our Workshop on my pattern Spinning Stars by Cut Loose Press.
